This 9-Day tour covers the three gems of China on a weeklong stay. In China's
capital, Beijing, enjoy a Beijing Opera and a Peking Duck Dinner. Sightseeing
includes a visit to the Forbidden City, Tianamen Square and the Summer Palace
and the Great Wall at Badaling. Tour the Ming Tomb and the underground Palace
of the Ding Tomb. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Xian, the Chinese
capital for 11 dynasties. At Xian, marvel at the extraordinary terra-cotta
army standing guard at the tomb of China’s first Emperor, visit the Ci’en
Temple which houses the famous Greater Wild Goose Pagoda and experience the
famous Tang Dynasty Dance Show. In Shanghai, explore the famous Yu Gardens,
the Jade Buddha Temple and the Old Town renowned for its shopping delights.
You will ride on the fast Maglev Train, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River,
climb to top of the Orient Broadcasting Tower and enjoy an audio tour of the
Shanghai Museum. The objects on display in this world-class museum represent
the pinnacle of Chinese arts, including painting, calligraphy, ceramics, jade,
and bronzes. Then fly to Singapore for a two-night stay, which includes a city
tour, a tram ride on the Night Safari and a bumboat ride on the Singapore River.
There’s free time to surprise yourself with new activities and places to go.

DAY 1 Arrive Beijing Upon arrival at
Beijing you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your
hotel. In the evening enjoy a Beijing Opera and a Peking Duck Dinner
at a local restaurant. Overnight at Beijing. (L D)
DAY 2 Beijing After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square,
with the Monument of the People's Heroes at its the center. Visit the
Great Hall of the People which its enormous Banquet Hall. Then proceed
to the Forbidden City and its treasure-filled Palace Museum. This
Palace of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties is the largest
and best - preserved ancient building group in China. After lunch, visit the Summer
Palace with the largest imperial gardens, glazed - tiled pavilions,
winding corridors, connecting ponds and stone bridges. Dinner at a local
restaurant. Overnight stay at Beijing. (BB L D)
DAY 3 Beijing - Over night train to Xian Visit the Great Wall
of China at Badaling. After lunch, tour the Ming Tombs
and the Underground Palace of the Ding Tomb. After dinner at a local
restaurant, board the overnight soft sleeper train to Xian. Overnight on train

DAY 4 Xian Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and
transferred to Lishan Hill to view the 8th Wonder of the World - the
Terra Cotta Warriors of China. Then tour the Huaqing Pool, a
hot spring pool used by an Emperor of the Tang Dynasty and his concubine.
Continue to the Ci'en Temple which houses the famous Greater Wild
Goose Pagoda that was built for keeping the sutras brought from India.
Afterwards, tour the City Wall and feast on dumplings for dinner. This
evening enjoy the famous Tang Dynasty Dance Show. Overnight stay at

DAY 5 Xian - Shanghai After breakfast take the flight to Shanghai.
You will be met on arrival by your local guide and transferred to your Hotel.
Sightseeing covers Yu Garden, the most celebrated classical Chinese
garden in Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Old Town famous for
its shopping. In the evening, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River.

DAY 6 Shanghai Today, climb to top of the Orient Broadcasting
Tower, the landmark of Shanghai. Take an audio tour of the Shanghai
Museum and ride the Maglev Train, the fastest in the world.
Evening free to explore Shanghai's shopping, cultural and entertainment Mecca
the Xintiandi Plaza. Overnight at Shanghai. (BB L D)

DAY 7 Shanghai - Singapore Transfer to the airport to connect
your flight to Singapore. You are met on arrival and transferred to
your Hotel. After lunch, proceed on a half day city tour, covering the
important sights of Singapore. Why not attend a show at Esplanade
- Theatres on the Bay? Overnight in Singapore. (BB)
DAY 8 Singapore Morning at leisure. In the evening transfer to
the Zoo for the Night Safari Tour. See over a 1000 nocturnal animals
on a conducted tram ride. This evening why not try a Singapore Sling and a
romantic dinner in the Raffles Courtyard? Overnight in Singapore. (BB)
DAY 9 Singapore - Chennai Morning at leisure. Time for last
minute shopping. Transfer to the Airport for your return flight to Chennai.
